 M. A. Torres; A la dècada dels 70 , vam començar a experimentar amb la fermentació en bótes de roure francès. Així naixia Gran Viña Sol, fruit de la unió de la varietat chardonnay i parellada.

Nota de Cata

 Color or pàl·lid i brillant. Floral (lligabosc), amb notes vegetals i fruiters (pinya , préssec). En boca és intens, amb bona matèria especiada (vainilla) que denota el seu pas per la bóta de roure.

Gastronomia

 Excel·lent amb formatges frescos, peixos, mariscs, paelles marineres i fins i tot pollastre i gall dindi. Servir a 11°C
